Established in 2002, Vorx Telecommunications Co., Ltd. is a high-tech corporation and expert in the development and manufacture of digital video surveillance equipment. Vorx is composed of venture capital and outstanding technicians, and is the formal Institute of Telecommunication Technology and Product, which belonged to the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication.

Vorx devotes itself to digital video application development. Since 1994, we have developed independently series of products for optical transmission, interface network and video transmission. Vorx products are used in many industries, such as telecommunication, transportation, police, electric power, military, petroleum and petrochemicals, banking and colliery.

Vorx has many experts in multimedia video, fiber communication and network software areas. Our administrator group possesses skillful experience in IT field, and also keeps good strategic relationships with China Academy of Science, Beijing University of Posts, The 1st Institute of Ministry of Public Security and Telecommunications, and American Silicon Valley high-tech companies. Vorx has the distinctive understanding of optical fiber digital video transmission, network video transmission and designing, exploiting and manufacture of relevant products. Our products are in the leading position of video surveillance field in both domestic and foreign markets.

In 1998, Vorx exploited the point-to-point video surveillance equipment VEX-1 based on E1 transmission channel with H.261 standard, and was successfully applied in substations and watching rooms of Shandong Electricity, Guangdong Electricity and Jilin Electricity. In 2000, we exploited the point-to-point video surveillance equipment VEX-2 based on E1 channel transmission with M-JPEG compressing standard, which were successfully adopted in Jiangsu Electricity, Qinghai Petrochemical, Hebei Telecom and military conference system.

In 2001, we exploited the inner putting optical transmission system VOX video surveillance system with M-JPEG compressing standard, which was mainly applied to urban roads surveillance and motorways surveillance. In 2001, Vorx exploited the video surveillance system VON based on Ethernet interface with M-JPEG compressing standard.
